What We Do

The Farmville Jaycees meet on the last Thursday of the month at 6 pm. At our meetings, we plan our many efforts to help our community and often enjoy an inspirational speaker.

Our signature projects are the Live @ Riverside concert series, the Farmville Jaycees Christmas Parade, and our annual toy drives at Hampden-Sydney and Longwood University. We also regularly pick up trash at Grove Street Park, the Farmville Train Station, and Wilck’s Lake Park. In addition, each year our members bring new projects and initiatives to the organization that help us fulfill our mission.

The Farmville Jaycees also focus on Individual Development for our members. Our goal is to create leaders who not only are able to serve the organization, but also the community, and their professional organizations. We fulfill this through speakers, trainings, and other programs.
